I started playing tournaments in April 2004, won the 2005 Texas Amateur Championship 7-0, broke Expert in October 2006 and National Master in March 2008.  I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in piano, and then in December 2010 with a masters in computational and applied mathematics.  I currently work as a watchOS developer for Apple. Texas State Champion in 2021.
